Chicago is the city that will remain in electronic music history as the place where House Music was born. Mainly thanks to Franckie Knuckles, the resident DJ of the club where the "House" name comes from, the Wharehouse.
From 1982 to 1989, some of the best productions of that time were coming from there.
Here is one great Chicago House track, produced in 1986 by Mark Belcher and Kelly Wright under the nickname "MK II" released on the big label "D.J. International Records". "MK II" also stands for the famous turntable model by Technics, used by all DJs at that time, and still nowadays: Technics SL1200 MKII.
