Synth-pop was pretty popular during the 80’s thanks to major band such as Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys, OMD, New Order, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Bronski Beat, Soft Cell, The Human League, Visage…
But aside from theses, some smaller bands also did some tracks that were less popular, yet very nice to ear.
Thanks to the "Born Bad" team, who are holding a nice record shop in Paris, some of theses unknown tracks are now again available to ear on the "BIPPP : French Synth-Wave 1979/85" LP and CD compilation.
Here is one of the funniest and nice track of the compilation, from a French band called Comix who released very few records on Virgin records. This one is from 1982.
